A guilty pleasure

If you have been following my blog for a while, or even if you've just looked at the last few posts, you know that I'm not a fancy cook. I typically make up my own recipes using easily accessible food. I rarely make complicated recipes that require multiple steps, multiple pots & pans, or days to be first refrigerated, then baked for several hours, etc. ....you get my point.

I like simple food. I like comfort food. Yesterday, I combined these two concepts in a bowl, and here is what came out:

salsa + mayo + chopped avocado + roasted turkey + shredded cheese= deliciousness (the only thing missing were the chips, so I ate this concoction with a fork)

Am I ashamed to admit this? Not at all. After all, I've written about my love for tomato/mayo/onion sandwich and I've been known to have mashed potato sandwiches (white bread, mayo, cold mashed potatoes).

What are some of yours guilty pleasures?

Thank you for visiting my blog and leaving your kind comment! :-)

I have to come back here, the two soup recipes look very tempting and Challah bread is something I grew up with, as a special treat (with raisins). Each of us children would get a whole loaf of one's own for Easter and at Christmas time, from our godmother.

Until about three years ago, I lived across the Potomac from you!

For breakfast. And other times too I guess, at least 2-3 times a week!
