Ginger cookies for friends

Not sure how many of you know this, but I do freelance blogging for Robyn Webb. She gives me the recipes, and I prepare them, take photos and post them on her website Fabulous Food Finds.
Why do I like freelancing for Robyn? Because it allows me to try new recipes, products, and gets my name and photographs to people who might otherwise not read my blog.

This week I made Gluten Free Ginger Cookies for Robyn's blog. You can find the recipe here.

I must admit, ginger cookies are not my favorite. The first time I made them was for a now-ex-boyfriend about 6 years ago, and I still have a bottle of molasses left from that baking session in my refrigerator. I've also made Hanukkah ginger cookies following Martha Stewart's recipe for Cindy and her girls a few months ago. Well, Robyn's recipe is a zillion times better than Martha's, and it's also perfect for all of you who follow gluten free diet.

I brought all the cookies that I made to work to share with my friends, and they were quite a hit. Although it's not a Valentine's day quite yet, I decided to make them in the shapes of hearts :)

Do you like my round mirror? I got it for free at a store that was going out of business! Love free things. I just asked construction workers that were taking things down if I could have them. There were a bit perplexed, but gave in.

If you are looking for some freelance recipe testers/photographers, please don't hesitate to contact me! I'll bring cookies.

These look too pretty to eat! Just kidding - I would gobble these cookies up in a minute flat :) I love making cookies and these look great to try and I think I could even use my favorite flour for perfection - Kamut khorasan wheat flour! YUM! Thanks so much :)
