Book Giveaway: Your least favorite food words

I was having a snack of milk and Milano Doulbe Chocolate cookies and thought what a great treat it was. That reminded me that "treat" is one of Anna's least favorite food words. That made me think of the food words that I do not like:

foodie
kielbasa
moist
yummo

What are some of the food words you don't like? Leave a comment and your email, and you might win a copy of Creative Cooking The Costco Way (exciting, right?). Important: I forgot to mention this before, but you must live within United States.

Note: the contest ends September 30th.

  25. "Moist" is definitely bad- I think it's the way you must form your mouth to say it- as if you smell something bad- try it you'll see :) Sometimes I do use it though...

"Bam" is out- have you seen the new Crest add asking for us to come up with another "catch phrase" for Emeril? -eek!

    "Offal" is awful

"Tripe" just scares me and I've never liked "Hominy" ewww!

I hate the word "functionality" the word is already modified at "functional" people!!! Did it come from "Wessonality" with Mrs. Brady?

    "Nouvelle" and "Haute" are overused

"Fusion" and its varieties fizzles for me too.

Rachel Ray's whole vocabulary is in "things that must go."

Ironically I like delish and scrumptious.

    Okay enough said :)

Thanks for a fun rant :)

PS don't need to enter me in the giveaway- I already had the book thanks anyway! xo

  26. I can't believe no one else has suggested YOGURT as their least favorite food word. Now, mind you, I'm not talking about the food, itself. But the WORD! Especially the "gurt" part. Makes me think of "girdles," "gurgle," and even "old Aunt Gert." Ha! I wish they had called it something else.

  30. Most of Rachel Ray's food related vocabulary.

Honestly, almost any word related to food makes me happy. Unless it's 'fat' or 'calories'.
