Over the weekend I was testing a few more recipes for Robyn with Anna's help. One of them is absolutely perfect for any fall dinner, especially Thanksgiving meal.
Here, the combination of shallots, carrots, parsnips and sweet potatoes is ready to go into a hot oven.

And here is the final product: delicious!
I was totally thinking about picking up some veggies to do this with over the weekend.
ReplyDeleteSo simple yet so delicious! I adore parsnip though they are quite rare in France.
ReplyDeleteThe color combination of the pre-roasted vegetables is absolutely lovely! I feel like it should be my color palette should I ever actually buy my own house :)
ReplyDeleteAH! this is just what i'm in the mood for, coincidentally enough. dc got so cold all of a sudden and i need something hearty to warm me up.
ReplyDeleteI always try to make some sort of mixed roasted vegetables for Thanksgiving. It is such an unexpected choice for everyone. The photos are beautiful.
ReplyDeletePretty close to my last Thanksgiving mix, but I used leeks instead of shallots. And I added beets--talk about color!!
